Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous Oxide is a sweet-smelling, safe, non-irritating, colorless gas which you can breathe, commonly referred to as “laughing gas”. It has been used as a means of sedation and to reduce anxiety during dental procedures for many years. The gas is delivered through a small nose piece and the patient remains awake throughout. You’ll be happy to know that, unlike other types of sedation, the effects of laughing gas will be gone by the time you’re ready to leave the office.
